Spring to summer

The jungle garden

It's a beautiful morning in Seattle.  We've finally broken out of that cool, rainy weather pattern and seem to be moving directly into summer.  The forecast is dry and warm right through the Memorial Day weekend, which is pretty unusual.  The yard is filling up with rampant vegetation. Hedge, trees, vines, shrubs, roses-- everything is growing on steroids after all the rain.

Way to go, Nova

Here's another sunny morning sight. I gave Nova her first crochet lesson this weekend and she was a quick study.  Amanda said she loves it and was up early practicing.  Very pretty!
