That's Twisp yesterday afternoon. They had over a foot of snow, and overnight temperatures down to zero this week. No school today and they don't look too sad about it.
Even by central Washington standards, that was an abrupt change of seasons. My gosh, we didn't even have time to rake up the leaves this fall.
The peaceful and warm view exactly a week ago when I left. Goodbye fall, ready or not, it's winter. We're still in a La Nina pattern, so it could be another doozy.
