I remember in my distant elementary school days during recess we used to play a game called "Spirit of '76" -- we'd all get in a circle and whoever was "it" was in the center. "It" would point to somebody and say "Spirit of '76!." Whoever was being pointed at had to had to pretend they were holding a flag, the person to their left had to pretend they were playing a drum, and the person to their right had to pretend they were playing a fife. If you messed up, you were "it."
"I have always been regretting that I was not as wise as the day I was born. The intellect is a cleaver; it discerns and rifts its way into the secret of things."
Henry David Thoreau
