Another beautiful summer morning here in Seattle. Quiet at the moment, but all week, huge double trucks have been going by the house, delivering mountains of gravel to the track. This after pulling out mountains of dirt that coated everything with a layer of dust, especially down the hill. Who knew artificial turf construction was such a massive project?
It's also Sea Fair Week, which means the Blue Angels are in town practicing. I'd love to see their Sunday show from Lake Washington, but the traffic is pretty daunting. You can always watch on local TV while listening to them roar around in the sky above. Actually kind of fun getting the views from the cockpit.
Meanwhile, out in the peaceful countryside, Nova and "Ginger." She gets to ride her in exchange for doing some chores. What a deal.
