April is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.
Winter kept us warm, covering
Earth in forgetful snow, feeding
A little life with dried tubers.

T.S. Eliot
I. The Burial of the Dead
The Waste Land

April is shaping up to be a very cruel month indeed. Today is April Fool's Day. If only this nightmare was just an immense practical joke on the world.  It certainly feels unreal enough.
Keep the faith.

Here's a beautiful version of the old gospel song, "Amazing Grace."
