Wet and warm

"The best thing one can do when it's raining is let it rain."
Henry Wordsworth Longfellow

Today will probably be the wettest day so far in 2014, and that's really saying something.  The rain is pounding down this morning like a typical November storm, except it will be close to 60 today. The Pineapple Express is melting in the mountain snow and the rivers are overflowing.

So much for our weather woes in the Northwest-- it could be much worse than buckets of warm rain.  And when the sun comes out for a few minutes, Seattle is blindingly green. The daffodils can't wait to bloom.  In the meantime...
