The weather is a mixed bag today (sun, clouds and chilly wind) but should improve in a day or so. Who cares? We're enjoying Desert Hot Springs for two nights, one of our favorite places a bit off the beaten track. Most of the people here are regulars like us, who come back every year.
We stayed at the Tuscan Inn last year and liked the hotel and mineral pools. This tine we have one of the rooms with a private veranda and view of the mountains.
It is very comfortable and quiet (adults only.) We bought wine and take-out chicken at Vonn's (Safeway) for dinner and then slept for 9 hours.
Today we get down to the hard job of relaxing...
