A medieval betrothal scene
April, come she will.
May she will stay,
June she'll change her tune.
July she will fly.
August die she must.
Anyone from my generation recognizes those lines from a 1960's Simon and Grafunkel song, but the words originally came from English nursery rhyme about a cuckoo bird.
So April is here, and Spring truly arrived yesterday. Our Easter Sunday was over in a whirlwind and I was too busy enjoying myself (among other things) to take many pictures. Imagine a late March day actually warm and dry enough to eat outside? In 30+ years of living in Seattle that has never happened on Easter.
Along with Dave, Amanda and Tom, we had Gina and Michael over with their kids, Adelina and Finbar. They were all in Seattle because both families are on the way to the Oregon coast where they've rented a beach house together this week. Great weather coming up for that.
