Only four more days

Just a few days left to the election and finally the end of political advertisements.  We've almost forgotten what TV commercials for cars and chips look like, with politicians hogging the airways. The only break in politics has been the wrecked New Jersey coastline and Staten Islanders screaming for help on the evening news.  And even that (of course) has turned political.

Dear Pennsylvania, you've been overshadowed by New York City on the national news, and we haven't heard much even though the storm whipped through the entire state.  I hope all is well with our family in Bucks Country, and we're looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Washington isn't a swing state so we're spared dueling Romney-Obama ads and political rallies. But there are other close races.  It's pretty lame to admit you have a favorite TV ad, but here's mine.  This "Mr. Heck for Congress" is not even in our voting district and I have no idea who he is.  This is not a political endorsement on Feathers and Flowers! But if you can stand to watch one more ad, this one is pretty good.
