RN Amanda

Amanda passed the NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses) on Monday.  As you can imagine, this is a tough test that covers the entire range of medical topics. It's a stressful, complicated, computerized process that stops when you've answered exactly enough questions to either pass or fail.  Then out the door you go, and wait 24 anxious hours for the results to be posted online.

She said her questions stopped right at 100, and she had no sense of how she did.  She thought,  "pretty bad." But Amanda has been saying this about every test she's ever taken since the 3rd grade, and I know she's a very good student!  So we're not at all surprised she passed with flying colors.

Big congratulations! We now have an official Registered Nurse in the family. I'll let you know when the Nurse Hotline opens for business  :-)
