The raccoons seemed extra busy this week, and I wondered if they were looking around for their toy. I took this picture from my desk yesterday morning while I was writing about a certain little lost elephant.
They came through the front yard carrying a bright red thing, which turned out to be just a leaf, but it seemed incriminating somehow. A good lawyer would say, "that only proves they are capable of taking things from point A to point B."
Never mind that, I'm off on my own forage today. The annual West Seattle Community Yard Sale is here-- hundreds of individual sales within a few miles of home. A day when John hides out in the basement, worrying about how much stuff I'm going to haul home.
