What a day it was

It's not often Seattle can go toe-to-toe with Phoenix in the hot weather department for the crown of hottest big city in America, but Monday, the Emerald City held its own.

The highways were clogged with traffic, the police out in full force, the parks and beaches overflowing as Seattle generally went crazy yesterday.   This morning the oppressive "heat wave" is over, and I'm looking out at the dark marine clouds that moved in overnight.  Everyone can get back to work. But what a day it was...

Our local newscast will make you smile (or smirk!)

  1. Ah, I miss Seattle. It's the only place where people go crazy over weather, winter and summer.
