This is the pretty ukulele I bought last week at the Guitar Center Store. Now you're wondering why a busy person would take up a new hobby?  Especially since I didn't play an instrument at school or learn to read music, unless you count a few lessons on a Sears Roebuck guitar (1960's vintage) and strumming out Bob's Blowin' in the Wind.

Maybe it's the thought of Nova and Maya singing along to You Are My Sunshine while Nana plays her uke. Hey, that's just C, G and F chords, right?  From there, who knows-- maybe John will be inspired to break out his old trumpet? Then Tom can accompany us on the piano, and we'll have a trio.

And it's so easy, ANYONE can master it!  (I've just ordered the Ukulele for Dummies book.)
