I was busy baking early this morning instead of dinking away at the computer.  Happy birthday, John!  Sorry you're at work today (that alarm was especially rude this morning) but here's a preview of your favorite cake, soon to be filled with pastry cream, slathered with whipped cream and topped with toasted coconut.  Who counts calories on their birthday?
