It's dark, raining and chilly this July morning in Seattle. 2011 is going down as the summer that never was. But-- I have an indoor pajama project and hours of challenging fun ahead learning how to use my fancy new digital camera. Thanks, John for the surprise! I think. Instead of buttons and dials like my 8-year old Sony camera, this one is just slippery, sleek little black box. Touchscreen for clumsy old fingers. Since people like me tend to keep gadgets until they break, quantum leaps of technology go on behind their backs. Making for a rather steep learning curve. The weekend goal: take some show-off garden photos for the Monday morning blog.
