A first time for everything

This looks scary, but he's just having his very first manicure, including arm and shoulder massage. I gave him a gift certificate for his birthday, and he seemed to be enjoying it. A little too much? I kept an eye on things from the pedicure chair.

Here's a nice sight. The Christmas cards are finished. My mini freezer is filling up with sugar cookies, ready to decorate next week. And tomorrow, after The Ukes Christmas concert at the Senior Center, we're going to the West Seattle Nursery to pick out a Christmas tree.
