Eat What You Want Day

May 10th is "Eat What You Want Day." Which doesn't mean eat as much as you want day. Steak is a big treat in this house. We're pretty good (most of the time) with portion control. These little sirloins made a nice dinner and then big steak salad the next day. I know how to stretch the meat budget. It's good to finally use the grill again, that is, when it's not raining.

Also, if you've only got enough leftovers for one, you can put it in the food processor and add a little mustard (or tartar sauce -- pickles and beef are a super combo) and mayo to make a spread for crackers. Little squares of cheese, cherry tomato halves, black olive slices or what have you to garnish, and a side of dunkable veggies and there's a light, tasty lunch for two.
