The last time I went to the outdoor Thursday ukulele jam at the coffeehouse, it was so cold even with a blanket from the car I could hardly wait to get home.
Today looks much warmer and it should be a lively gathering, being World Uke Day. Ukulele players don't need much excuse to celebrate themselves. Loudly. And this west Seattle group is so popular you have to go early or you'll be sitting out on the cold fringe of the patio, far away from the overhead heater.
The groundhog predicted 6 more weeks of winter, for whatever that's worth.
