Worth a thousand words
I took this photograph yesterday a few blocks from our house. Yet another multi-story apartment building going up smack against a row of classic West Seattle bungalows. An iconic image of the Urban Village, if there ever was one.
Well. "To complain is always nonacceptance of what is." (Eckhart Tolle.)
Ditto the weather. Speaking of which, the snow was gone by 11 am yesterday. The March sun is intense when it finally decides to show. Another round of snow this morning, then we are surely well and truly done, and can put this winter to rest in the Seattle record book.
Next week, they are predicting temperatures in the 50's. Yea. Maryanne and I haven't been able to take the horses out on the trails since January.
No concert this weekend, but Saturday is my last drawing class. Then on Sunday I'm thinking of driving up to North Seattle via the fancy tunnel for the monthly SUPA (Seattle Ukulele Players Association.) March is the annual open mike meeting and swap meet. Always a fun one.
Have a good weekend. See you Monday.
